MY head is going from flash to 3d movie... I wish I can clone myself. Anyways I'm going to try doing both. Also Brennan and I are making a podcast for games and computers. I'll keep you guys posted.

Anyways here's another poster for my 3d short movie. It's a celebration that I'm now in my animation/rendering stage. I'm halfway there! Finally after making movies about Johnny and Thavidu, I can make a movie about me and kyu! and explosions.

Bounty plus Hunter will be showing on the big screen in Newyork for 2 or 3 days. so I'll explain more details when the time gets closer. Of course I'll be there too.

LenZ is back

These are the new style for the upcoming series that I'm working on. Supposedly it should answer as much questions from the original series and as well as new ideas such as Red Cap. Any other flash artist can join the compilation project. It can be any style to an artist fitting like the animatrix or gotham nights concept and can be any story. Flash/3d/aftereffects will be used to give it a true animation feeling unlike my previous 13fps and flashy-ness.

I'm making the intro teaser as of now and will be done by next week. I can say trying to make the Zero Cannon in 3d and the corridor of thousands of windows in 3d makes me feel like a kid again. Stay tuned.

The first one is going to be used in Red Cap is called EgoCity (haha, no seriously it is.)
The second one is going to be used in Bounty + Hunter I suppose. I think LenZ wants it to be a little slower. I haven't named it yet. I also recorded 2 versions of it. Heres Version 1 and Heres Version 2.

RedCap Another memories will be a collab flash animation with a story written by Kyu.
College is almost near an end by next year for me and with all the knowledge and discoveries I remember from the past, I promise myself that I'll make redcap as a flash artist again. Seeing old friends like Young Jazz's work on NG got me inspired by the amount of work and talent in his fluid animations that par to par from tv shows on adult swim or other animes. Not only that he made a friggen big world in his style.

RedCap is a slow, but mysteries episode but filled story driven character. CowBoyBeepBop is my inspiration when I first made RedCap and I like to expand this story too. EgoCity on the other hand was full of explosions XD BOOM! My 3d movie coming next year will be full of that, don't worry. Trains, glass explosions WOOt!

Slow years

2004-2008 I believe was the peak of IPS. I'll continue to work on this site once a blue moon and for those saying this place is dying, well yhea it is. But it's the time when I'm starting to have an actual life and every admins are splitting off to their own life. I'm just glad I supported them into flash as an animator and a programmer over the years.
I hope some of you will come back once a blue moon to see new things from me. I'm going into my senior year of college next year and I'll be releasing a 3d movie and all. I wanted to go back to flash animation and a mixture of aftereffects as my dream hobby now. I'll still be here and for the admins and fans reading this, I won't destory this site but I'll continue to update once a blue moon. Like PFRPG2 regrammer check.

Egocity in an iPhone... thinking

Lol So I found an engine that makes iPhone games. It's call Unity and I read it can create both 2D and 3D world or as most games would call it 2.5D. I'm attempting to learn more of its engine cause most people has an iphone than unreal. Also it is playable on a computer as well so it doesn't have to be on an iphone or ipod. But anyways I'm going to look into it and the best part is, it's a free engine so check it out.

So I got a mail stating that our blog will not be offering FTP support. Not to worry because I moved our blog to blogspot server. If your reading right now, you are now seeing this blog moved. Anyways it's no big deal. I think this also resolves the reason we can't post things on this blog in the past as well. Blogspot said services for FTP support will be terminated on March so if anybody has an FTP support, switch to blogspot. You won't loose anything anyways.

In another news. lenzproduction.com (portfolio site) is updating the scenery again. Now with less HTML and more room for new images and videos. I'll finish the ressurection by the coming week.

Also Kyu is now in charge of writing REDCAP short movie that I'm still managing. The episode will have more production anime style like production IG animations. I wanted it like that because if I get a job for animating, I would like this specific movie to show both my art and the power of Flash 8 which everybody discard to CS4 lol I'm using ancient software just like the good old days with EgoCity. 80% of EgoCity was made using Flash 4!

Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is now GPU accelerated. What this mean is you won't have anymore youtube lag while watching their extreme HD format. It's not CPU intensive anymore and the big 1080 videos are very smooth to watch. Even if you don't have a graphic card, it'll still run alot better then before. It's still in beta version, but in my mind, it's 80% better. Try it for yourself:
Windows (2MB)
Mac (9MB)
Linux (4MB)

If you like to make an experiment, this is what I've just done. Make a controled experiment by watching Sonic Werehog short in HD and full screen. Now download the 10.1 flash player and watch it again. You'll notice it runs so much smoother. I'm using a quad core computer for this experiment. Enjoy

PF3 Thavidu Model

I'm almost done modeling Thavidu for the game.
Now I went to other site that contained my PFRPG2. The main menu was connected to a movieload so when it loads, it loads other files on the phrozenflame site. When the host site was mysteriously erased and abandoned, it effects the game to that other site and hence the reason why disk 2 wasn't working or there was some sort of long load, etc. So now you can play PF2 on this site which is now the original host. P.S. When you hear Ivan's new music play at the beginning, it'll means I rechecked my grammers and other bad english stuffs. That'll be done around my winter break. I was a 15 years old asian kid and now gaining consciousness of my mistakes.

PFRPG 2 - UPLOADED

The whole PF RPG collection is now complete! Over the next few weeks, I'll replace the disk selection page music with Ivan's new score for PF theme song containing all of his old themes into one. Also I'll be uploading a sort of strategy map to show a bigger view of it's locations and where to scout the shops to upgrade your weapons. Enjoy. PF RPG2 is not a level based game but you upgrade your stats in shops. If I were to make the game now, I would totally do a Mario RPG level ups. oh wells.

Oh BTW. Your choice at the beginning with Kool-Aid, Pie, or pepsi will determine your beginning stats advantage in HP, Attack, or Money.

I like to thank Thavidu (ironically the main character) for helping me with action script since the beginning of time. Brennan for advancing the battle system. And Ivan for being IPS main musician for all these years. Thankyou.

The best actors of IPS needs an encore with all of the classic EgoCity, now uploaded. Sorry for the delay cause I got a lot of stuff to do lately. Missy (rachel), Brennan (Zero+Jesse), LenZ (Johnny), Kyu (Cap), MB (Zane), Logi (Scar), Matthew (Dr. Madness). Over the course there has been alot of voice changes and voice switchings, but clearly I chose these actors that stood out the most after experimenting. I also like to give a shout out to the IPS long lost fanfic writer who was part of our forums long long ago, Kayette.
Though the marathon of reuploading is not done yet. We are going up to the future with PF RPG2 and I do have to start rewrite the script for saving points which is important xwx.

Windows 7 and lovely legal hacks

Wanna make your Windows 7 look like a Mac dock, then download 7Stacks. It's a small smart fan made. It creates a simple shortcut folder generator that can be pinned to ur taskbar. The only thing is, you must keep your source folder that contains your shortcuts. No bigger, just place them in my documents lol. It's great if you have series of softwares, like Adobe.

In other news, Hulu won't be free in a couple of month. You have to now pay in order to watch your tv shows and videos. Such a let down.

My final review of windows 7

So I updated both my laptop and desktop from vista to windows 7. I gave myself a variety by choosing a fresh clean update on my laptop while my desktop upgrade and containing my previous files.

I'm being honest in this review and I do use Mac in my work and at school for sound class. At work I use all adobe and maya programs. Here's my confrig:

Laptop- (Lowend workstation)
Duo 2 Core
2GB of ram
100 GB HDD memory
Nvidia 9000m series (forgot the exact # but u get the idea)

Desktop- (Overkill highend workstation)
Core 17 3.07GHz
12GB of ram (muhahaha)
238 GB SSD memory
Nvidia quadro 3800FX

so with this variety, I'll give you my total experience in updating things. Starting with the laptop and giving it a clean install, I went through nearly 2hours of waiting. Simple and all I had to do was to click advance clean install and type in my serial. It restarts twice and suprisenlly, all my files were saved in a window.old folder. My programs which I expected are cleaned and erased. So even if you do a clean restart, your regular files are there. Please bkup anyways.

My desktop took me around 30mins, partly because I have an SSD. Other than that, everything is there just like you left it. It's like bug spraying your house and coming back the next week.

I'm starting to love the taskbar below. Yes it's like mac, but if you like the olddays, you have an option of having both the mac and windows version and that's what I picked. Your window bars can be expand and having shortcut programs as well. Just right click the taksbar and should be on the 2nd tab. It's pretty common sense. I do hate the control panel if you like to go to classic view. Though it's not a big deal. it's in alphebetical order.

Now for hardware and stress test. I use AutoCAD programs like maya and I have double monitors. Windows 7 fixed the program where it wanted to make a widescreen and fullscreen the same ratio because of maya. Also it fixed the flashing black screen when booting up maya so now it's normal. And no more random chaning ratio. As for stress test and trust me I did this out of randomness. Remember you have an illegal close of times when your program goes white and freezes the heck out of you. Well think of Mac. When one program stops working, it doesn't freezes you. You are able to go onto your desktop or open ctrl+alt+delete without freezing or waiting. If anybody is curious on how I manage to get an illegal close, I opened up Maya to run an infinate loop of Mel codes....

Anyways it really depends what kind of computer you have that'll boot up fast but I'l tell you this, windows 7 can handle stress softwares pretty well now and won't make you go crazy. Oh and I'm about to set up a wireless network so I have print from my laptop without using any wires. I love the new home networking and I can grab photos from my desktop and doing this from tokyo if I have to. The wireless connection is so much faster to aquire too; almost an instant.

To end it all it's a great jump and better for games if your a gamer and love the wireless connection and super great for CAD softwares like me. Windows 7 is more organizing power awerness. There's rlly no difference between Mac and PC to get things done. I mean I make EgoCity, PFRPG, and Maya stuffs and can do the same thing on a mac. It's how you use the brush cause ur computers are tools. If your good at Mac, great. It's your tool and you know it better than anyone else. So end the computer wars. If your a Vista who does Adobe, Maya, and heavy processing and duel screen, Windows 7 will fix. If your just playing games and word app and simple stuffs that doesn't need intense situations like 1GB of ram, stick with vista. If your an XP.... god damn our missing fast response time in win7. Even my laptop got quicker in the update. Anyways I better invest a macbook if I end up as a graphic artist. PC if I end up as a video game designer... THE WORLD HAS RANDOM RULES.

This review is thru my experience only. sorry for the long post cause win7 suprises me like a child.

Simple Windows 7 tip

So I checked both my laptop and desktop for my windows 7 upgrades and they shipped it 2 days before the official release which is today. Oh and don't trust HP's windows 7 shipping, they are sloooow. I mean yes they took the matters to their own hands like they created their own windows 7 serial number page because they wanna be original... heck you know when you buy an HP computer, it comes with HP services... owo I digress. Partly my evil parents bought HP and it's still validating the serial since a month ago. Evil in evil out.

So let's begin the windows 7 guide. It's not really hard and everybody makes it so. It's like youtube comments. If one says this, 1000 ppl follows.

-If you have a desktop or a laptop, get Home Premium. <--recommended for average people like me. Home Premium has enough stuffs of what we just need and know from XP and Vista.

-if you have a netbook or 3G netbook, get Starter. Starter on the other hand has no DVD playback feature. Cause netbooks don't need that since there is no DVD rom. There is no Aero peak cause that's just for shiney effects. Those transparent windows, colorful bars, and touch screen mechanics. Those are RAM hoggers and I turn them off on my desktop as well. Netbooks are for surfing the net. Think of your iPhone or Andriods. You don't need these fancy garbage to do simple things.
-If you're IT or in a job of networking and renderfarming or a bigger nerd than a nerd should be, get ultimate or professional.

For the noobies who dunno about 32bit and 64bit; 32bits is if your computer can handle 3GB or less of RAM, 64bits if your computer can handle more than 4GB of RAM. I have 12 GB of RAM cause I do heavy duty prossesing in 3D and adobe renderings. For a person only doing Word and Financel programs, 2GB is enough for you.

So what's so good about Windows 7 besides people saying it's better. If you are paranoided about energy like me, (I use 700watts in my PSU, normal consumer HP computers uses 250watts) windows 7 has a smart architechture of saving energy when it's not needed. It also dims lights when your not using the computer (Screensavers doesn't count of preserving energy, shutting off monitor does). For laptops, you get an instant on and off when you close the lid. Only nessary services activates in your prossesors when you start up giving it a much faster boot time. Also pinning your programs to your start bar for shortcuts. You get the point. This applies to why they make so many versions. Starter has stuffs only just to surf the web and watch videos and play flash games, word and financal programs, etc. Premium has enough stuffs to do everything else, like Maya, adobe suite and other powerful highend softwares, DVD playbacks.

Now I'll be having a nerd party in my brain while waiting for Win7. P.S. If you are a college student, you get windows 7 upgrade for $30.

Smashing up a dell

If you have ever seen the movie " Office Space ", then you'll recognize what we're doing immediately. If you haven't seen it, then go watch it online or something NOW!

So on october 9th, me and my friends wanted to reenact the famous Office Space scene, in which the 3 protagonist of the movie DESTROY a fax machine in the scene, and the way they do it, with slow motion, seriousness, and the music, is hilarious. We didn't have a broken fax machine or printer we could use, so we decided to use my mom's broken Dell. Below is what happened.

RESSURECTIONS! 40% complete

We miss phrozenflame. A community full of flash artists gathering to show their best work. PhrozenFlame RPG was like our last charging-up-lazer before most of us split apart. I like to commit this week as the original IPS flash works that supports PF in the ol days. I've uploaded all EC Zero Series and PF 1. Theses two are the first half of the series. I like to chronically upload them. Enjoy rewatching and enjoy waiting a lil more longer so I can upload EC 1 to 5-2 (doesn't make sence) and even longer to see the upcoming red cap and PF3 in 3d! They are in the Flash pg by click on the huge Flash button above.

Also I bought myself a $400 wacom tablet (Large size) so it feels better in speed. When I was working on the new RedCap last year, I drew them frame by frame on paper and scan them into illustrator and trace vector-ly into flash. Now I can finally skip these process XD And it's heavy on frame by frames.... Sorry if I can't show any previews, they will also be imported into after effects and I don't wanna waste time rendering them until the final. Right now it's everywhere... I do apologize again for my long reterning.
Again I like to point out a lot of us has jobs or college and it'll be great if we post even the smallest thing onto the front page lol

StarGate Universe

Stargate airs every Fri night on Syfy channel (which was once called SciFi). Now I'm a fan of the series, ever since my child cartoons are slowely being banished (ex: Angry Beaver, Invader Zim, etc.) So here's my review to the series. 1) I wish they can make a theater movie lol But besides that, they try to take the series into a more darker and more emotional step. You guys know the deal with Battle Star Galatica and Lost right? Well try mixing those two. You get an extremely detailed production in CG and lighting fx and you also get beach-y people wanting their selfish needs. I'm not complaing about that and the second time watching it, I am happy about it cause for the fact, it shows us how we react when we are lost billions of light years away from Earth... No it's not like Lost where you are stranded on an island and replace the island with a planet. For one, I'm glad their comedy light jokes rolls over from the previous series. A kid named Eli was a video gamer- Mather wiz. He was playing a cameo StarGate MMO which is avialivle for playing. In one of his quest, he solved an ancient puzzle which was programmed on purpose so SG team can draft him out of his house... or should I say beam him out of his house. The 3 crews from SG1 also took short cameos as well and I'm happy to see their faces again. Oh and yes the camera shakes like battle stare Galactica as if it's not on a tri-pod. Conclusion, I can't wait to see more of the series but I still wish to see more of Atlantic. I hope there won't be too many killings to the main characters xwx

ODST has landed, and Final Thoughts? it is better then Halo 3, as well as original feel from the first game (Pistol of doom!) so yes it's a good game, Firefight is fun (and a dooms day for some one who's aiming for the Recon Armour)

So yhea IPS is going steadily again. I'm working mv for clients, and a skool work. We are all working seperatly including all of the other admins but remember, even if we all update a little every once in a while, it'll make this site seem gold again. even if it's a post about nuthing... like now lol
So Ivan is back ^^ yayys I met Thavidu recently and I'm going to see Ivan in the winter. Yup I'm going on an IPS hunt.
Also PF3 is going to utilize the Unreal torniment engine. Therefor, we must buy UnReal torniment 3 in order to play my mod. But don't just into it just yet cause I'm just beginning to make it. My life's goal is to make a 3d game ^^ It first starts off with flash and I jumped into 3d muhaha. Lets see our past: Mspaint comics, adobe sprite comics, flash, flash with 3d, flash with actionscript game with 3d. and now 3D!!!!!!!! Boy we've come along way. Oh and I organized my flash works on my desktop. Of my past, I ressurected 15GB of work including my scraps and extras and fla files.
Oh and I'm working on a client MV right now, it's a secret but i'll post sum screenshots of my vfx works. I tell ya I'm so happy I got this new computer. It has sum flaws and wierld ness but having 12 GB of ram is holy. What took me 1 hour to render a fx is now 6 mins. I was like Holy sheet that bar is going fast. My graphic card is quadro 3800, it's decent but loud at boot, but it gives me no lag at all in 3d works or heavy aftereffects. It feels like a never ending pot of curry soup really. Though I still wish for a 32Gb of ram so anyways brace with me and check the site later later, but always keep a part of IPS in our lil hearts. I gotta get myself a wacom tablet too for drawings and all so consider right now that I'm trying to set things up in my lil studio... and a bed next to it hehe

I come and go and out of all the years of finding free FTPs, this one's the best. If you choose Internet Explorer interface, you can drag and drop your items to ur site at a flash. No more hostsFTP like angelfire or bluehost. Their services are good but we need our personal 3rd party ftp to make our life easier. Dreamweaver has internal FTP but people like me are just lazyyyyy.

it's come to my Attention that comic book movies have been a Crave lately, this also had got me to reading some out of interest too, I shall mention ones I like, love and a upcoming that new film will be coming soon

Sin City: Perharps the first in a manner, (by first I mean one took from dialog detail to style in it, Spiderman took the concept but not complete dialog from the book can you picture Marvel's dialogs in films?! XD) Frank Miller the Creator wanted to avoid using comic book tie in on films (due to events from Hollywood) Robert Rodriguez wanted to prove that Comic book films can be Transition, not adaption and made a proof of concept using the Story "The Customer is Always Right" (later used for a intro) and the film for it began, the film itself uses a style of having short stories from different characters, such as Yellow bastard, The Hard Goodbye, and The Big Fat Kill, All characters fit and not just that, all Dialog is from entirely from the book (with some minior changes, but not too dear you'll get feel like your watching new) Marv is a perfect example of character, not only does he look and sound like him, but you also feel like he just came out of page and is now to life on screen (that means feels like him XD) the Style fits the comic, not just black and white, but also good use of shadow and contrasts, it's very good, where your a comic book fan or not, Sin City fan or not, it's worth watching this, Reading this, even hearing about it, it's style is eyecandy and characters do what they should do

it's Worth it

300: (Note, I haven't read it yet, but Frank Millers comic the same way, so I'm using my judgement) The Style from what I've seen in the covers, is the same as the comic book from before, I can't say much since I have only seen the film, but if Frank Miller is trusting with this title, then it must have worked

Watchmen: it started out of interest when the series were becoming a hype, to be fair, one creator has a personal hate for comic book movies (V for Vendetta, but that's for another time) but following Sin City's and 300 footsteps, did this film turn out to completely like the Real thing? No, but is it close to the first 2 films sucuess, yes, Elements like the Story was 90% the same as the book (With some element of the end, not entirely as well as some missing detail such as the Shadow couple on the wall) but regardless, it went though the whole comic in the film, from the begining, of a main character's death, to the end, of the outcome, it's nice to look up, but picky readers, might feel miniorly pushed off, but keep this in mind, it's only for those who like a good film and aren't picky on too much details on their books, but like I said, it did pretty well for keeping the elements from the first 2 mention films, just needs to not remove detail and change some facts, to a new, afterall, that's what made the first try of comic book adaptions in the past of many years caused it to somewhat fail in the first place

Professor Layton 2 Review + FF13 News

So I got myself Professor Layton 2 for the DS. Everything is twice as good as the first game and there are so much more cutscenes and events happening. The puzzles are addicting as ever, but it's alot harder and tougher. But don't let that stress your mind because they are fun and smart just like the previous game. It's a very polished installment and I can see alot of development went into this. The background characters are fun to look like (like the style from the three stooges movie).
I give this an 8.5 out of 10.
Because alot of the puzzles are abit too abstract and math-y (but it does make one smarter and the need of a caculator lol). And because by now, the Japanese has the 4rth installment ready and their movie coming out. I can't wait for it too.

Another news is FF13. It'll come for X-Box 360 and the PS3. The Xbox will contain 3 disks while the PS3 has 1. No PS3 and xbox fanboys here cause I consider this normal. (FF7, FF8, FF9 uses multiple disks as well in the past. That's what I love about game developers to put more than people can chew)
FF13 is having a new demo tryouts for overseas and not the one we saw for Advent Children combo. It's completely new and with their new engine.
Also the release date is 2009 Winter for Japan and 2010 Spring for US. They have finished English voicing and other language subs finished too.

... as on my side... RedCap is still in development and I rlly needa finish puting my PFRPG on this site. I gotta finish a MTV job first though.

32bit to 64bit

I like to point out before I bought a 64bit computer, there is a hazzy confusion if programs migrating to 64bit computer can work. Now that I have a 64bit computer, I can approve that all CS3, Flash 8, firefox, audacity, and Maya have been working fine without any prob. I haven't tested plugins for proffesional use in Maya and Aftereffects yet, but seeing that all of my old programs work, I can safely say it's not a big deal. ...now I wonder if my Magic School Bus games can work on 64bit windows 7. you know the ones that are made 10 years ago with windows 98. I found them when I was cleaning my room.

LenZ is getting a new computer

Lets take a moment of silence, that my old AMD 64 tower is going to be replaced with a new computer I've ordered. It has survived 5 spankling whole years and produced the whole IPS era on it. From PFRPG to EgoCity series and some more. That tower was a mere 1GB of Ram, 300GB, and a single core. I've created and pushed the CPU to it's limit like no consumer motherboards build can. I like to point out that I've never had any prob of any viruses on it too. It still works fine and starts up in 40sec flat (going on firefox). Sadly technology advances too quickly and programs required more ram so I'll show u a list of my upcoming tower that I've bought around $3000.

How to Fix Annoying YouTube Jumpiness in Firefox

Many users, myself included, visit YouTube on an almost daily basis. Ever since Firefox version 2.0 implemented the session restore function, when you are watching a video on YouTube (perhaps on other video sites as well, I haven't really tested that), you may notice a tiny freeze-up of the video every 10 seconds or so. This happens because the session restore is by default set to save all open tabs every 10 seconds. This is especially noticeable if you happen to have a lot of tabs open at once.

The quick fix for this problem, at least for my own sake, is to increase the time between each of the saves performed by session restore. By opening about:config in your Firefox address bar, then typing browser.sessionstore.interval in the filter box, you'll see a value of 10000, which is in milliseconds. (Meaning your session is saved every 10 seconds.) I changed this to 300000, or every 5 minutes, as I don't have the urgent need for tab restoration. If you feel like being more on the safe side, try increasing it to something a bit lower, say 120000, or every 2 minutes.

I took a week off from working on the 3d movie to do a lil practice of something else. Which I'm glad too because I needed to practice animating and to learn how cloth works. Here is sumthing I threw up together in a week.
1) Red and blue 3d glasses
2) Green and purple glasses (from the movie "Coraline")
3) original render

Also remember that subaway scene I showed u guys before? I decided to redo the rendering of that scene. 1) I learned how to render properly using the anti-aliasing alpha channel. 2) I added tecture details to those close up buildings. 3) I retexturized the blank wall at the beginning. 4) The z-depth is more focused than too much blur.

So much pain in those 7 seconds lol

so I came back from watching HarryPotter and to my suprise... I like it. It's not rushed or montage-y as well that I'm happy of the director's choice of some events to what is or not in the book. I think it's worth to see it in 3d imax version... with 15 awsum mins in 3D. Oh and snape killing dumberdore was realy sad. I won't spoil it... the scenes, but it's good enough to make you feel you haven't read the book. This film is far better than all of the other films combined.

Oh I also bought Wii Motion plus and is liking the resort. Bit expensive but enjoying it. I say wait till the prices go down if it does, but for now it's finally 1:1 movements.. Based on this ancient BATTLE with A GAINT CRAB!

As you people might know, a 360 update will be coming soon, allowing more uniforms for the Wii rip off...I mean..avatars...yeah

What will this mean is you can use your Microsoft points (that's game money here in 360 town) to buy special clothes such as ODST Armour from Halo and the Gears Armour for Gears of War, why does it have to cost Money though?!.....

on a interesting side note, Monkey Island and Marvel vs Capcom 2 is on Xbox Live Arcade, I highly suggest you play these titles, classics as a matter of fact, also give Conduit a try, it has that classical goldeneye and Perfect Dark feel
